But for some reason my Kindle does not recognize my prime membership, every time I try to get a book that is free to rent, it just informs me about the Prime benefits and asking me to sign up for one. Same thing goes for video streaming, it won’t let me watch any for free. I don’t understand why, I already signed up & paid for a Prime account. I was able to buy some case for my Kindle on my computer and use the free 2-day shipping, so that proves that my prime is working, but I still can’t get books or movies. How long does it take to recognize that I have a prime account?!?!

I recently payed for a rental text book for the Kindle fire and when I went to my Kindle, it showed up and everything but would not let me download it. When I went to my Kindle library on my PC it was there and it DOES open up. I can read it on my PC, which is fine, other than the fact that I need to read some of this stuff at school too and that’s where the Kindle would be very convenient. If someone could help me figure out how to open it on my Kindle that would be great, thank you!
