This one is about music but just came down on Thursday. How many songs did she share? 24. While this may not stand, of course, it might give some people who knowingly share illegal copies of e-books pause. This is not what the industry sought, by the way, but what the jury rendered. The feeling seems to have been that it wasn’t the $1.99 the tunes might have been worth, but the $80,000 licensing fee per that it would have cost.There are a lot more cases in the pipeline….
