Amazon Author Central

Amazon has a service in beta (testing mode) called Author Central:https://authorcentral.amazon.com/(Amazon page relevant to the discussion)There’s been a robust discussion on authors posting in this forum, and this gives an alternative. It’s new, and looks like it will become more useful by getting more capabilities…if successful. You sign up (they ask you to identify a book in the Amazon catalog as yours…DTP ((Digital Text Platform)) books do count). You need to have an Amazon account. It takes them something like seven days to set up.You’ll be able to list your books, have a bio (with a picture, if you want), do a blog, and so on.Currently, people find it when they search for the author at Amazon. They are working on getting it to connect to the author name on your book pages. There does appear to be a discussion on the page, so people will be able to ask you questions there. Here’s the Neil Gaiman page, if you want to see one:http://www.amazon.com/Neil-Gaiman/e/B000AQ01G2/ref=ep_sprkl_at_B000AQ01G2?pf_rd_p=478269791&pf_rd_s=auto-sparkle&pf_rd_t=301&pf_rd_i=Neil%20Gaiman(Amazon thread relevant to the discussion)
