GET ONE!!I just received my Kindle 2 yesterday, and it is even nicer and more enjoyable than I had anticipated. Reading about it online or watching videos about the Kindle does not match the experience of actually holding and reading one…it is such an outstanding leap of technology that is immediately satisfying and delightful. I have had mine for less than 24 hours, and I’ve already purchased eight or nine books, downloaded several book samples, installed MP3 music (a very nice accompaniment to reading), browsed the web, took advantage of the text-to-speech feature, made my own personal notes on a Kindle notepad, and shared a sample book with my son–who now insists he NEEDS one immediately! LOLI can tell you this little Kindle will be with me wherever I go. It is so hard to put down once you start using it. I had to force myself to go to sleep at 2 AM this morning because it is so enthralling. You can’t miss out on this novel and exciting experience. I realize this must sound like I am writing an advertisement for the Kindle…but I really am THAT thrilled and pleased with it P.S. I think the price is very suitable, considering that you have unlimited connection through Whispernet to not only Amazon, but to many prominent web sites. I browsed CNN, BCC and Wikipedia with ease. So the price is justifiable inasmuch as you have no monthly fees to connect online wherever you are. And Sprint’s coverage is one of the most widespread — you can check the coverage map before purchasing.
