The computer is recognizing the Kindle2 and lists it as a removable media drive BUT when I try to open it, the computer locks up. I can also see the progress bar at the top of the window keeps moving but slows to a halt towards the end of the bar. As soon as I remove the usb cable from the Kindle2 it all goes back to normal. I also tried using calibre to view/open the kindle but it did the same for it too.Is the only way to fix this to format the kindle? Is there no way to save the bookmarks of my books I have or backup the books in anyway? Any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated! TY
