I’ve read and reread review after review hoping to get a good must have vibe. I am definetly going towards kindle and not the competition. if the info i got is correct this is the way to go. I don’t like the idea of having to return the whole thing when the batteries inevitably give out. but hear is a question i would really like to know to really push me to a conclusion. If i plug in the Kindle DX and use it only plugged in to an outlet will it last until the Kindle itself croaks or will the batteries still need replacing around a year after i get it. I don’t read when i’m out of the house. I go do what i need to do then come home and open a book. I dont even need batteries if the power cord will run the Kindle DX. if i can do that i have to say, that would probably sell me.(no it would sell me.) If any of you know the answer please tell me.
