I thought that as the Kindle gets more and more attention that the novelty would wear off and I would not attract so much attention when I read on it in public, but to the contrary, I garner more and more attention every day.Normally I love it, because it gives me a chance to show off my favorite thing in the world and talk kindle, which is cool. But have you ever wanted to just really finish reading a really great book and you cannot because of the attention your Kindle causes? This happens to me all the time. Most recently, while waiting in line to watch the latest Harry Potter movie. We were at the midnight showing and had an hour and a half to wait in line. I was waiting for friends and came prepared to finish a book. Instead it quickly became an impromptu Kindle demo session. It was kind of cool, but alas, I never finished my book, lol! This is still an everyday occurance for me when I read my Kindle out in public, I wonder if anyone else is still experiencing this.
