Dowloading Samples when you aren’t in the wispernet area

Posted by Kindle 12 Jun 2009 No Comments »

I love my Kindle except for one thing. I like to get a sample of a book before I shell out the money for it. I happen to live in an area that is not covered by Wispernet (every other cell phone works fine here btw). The only way I can download samples is to drive about 20 minutes away and sit in a parking lot, turn back on the wispernet and wait for the download. This is really annoying. Why doesn’t amazon figure out a way to download samples from the website using USB like you can download actual books?
