I had a friend of mine look at my Kindle 1. She was very interested in the text sizing feature and asked how big the font can get. I showed her how to adjust the font and she set it to its maximum size.She explained that her youngest son (he’s in middle school) has very poor vision and requires large print editions of books. The school must order the books and they always arrive late. When they do arrive, he cannot take them home, and even if he could they’re huge and heavy.She was wondering if the Kindle would be a possible solution. This could be a great help to those kids that have impaired vision. Has anyone heard of school book publishers providing their books in digital format?
