I have a number of books on pdf that were sent via my email address. They show up in the menu on the left, the same as the file name, author-book title, and my email address shows up in the author column to the right. First I hooked up to my computer via usb, manually altered the titles and names in the opened folder, then checked it, didn’t change. Then I went into my mobipocket reader and changed all the file names, deleted the kindle content, and re-loaded the files via usb, but they are still showing up on kindle in the other format, author-title, my email. This becomes a problem when I have a long author’s name and several titles, but I can’t see them, so I have to open them each one at a time, go back to the menu, page through to find the next title, lather rinse repeat. Any ideas how to edit the file names on the menu display? Thank you.
