K2 vs DX

I was one of the first to buy a K1 and, like many of you, I recently bought my K2 and I like it a lot. Amazon is free to introduce as many products as it wants. However if the products are better versions of the 2 months old ones, it will suffer the consequences later. If this is the case with DX, some of the buyers will choose to wait for say the XR. If the product is just a bigger version, customers will not complain in general: If I buy a70′ sceeen TV, should I feel betrayed if the start selling a 100′? It is different if they produce a much better technology. The way I see it, this is not what happened with DX. Some people like a bigger reader or need one (for textbooks or papers) and others (like me) prefer a smaller one. Of course, coustomers should have all the information necessary to make an informed transaction; some people bought the K2 because it was the biggest at that moment. But if it is really just the same product for a different market, people can sell their K2 in the second market at a good price. My point is the following (at last): K2 owners have the right to get the technological innovations in the software that they find useful like PDF support, rotation, etc.. What is more, this basically has no cost for amazon.I propose that we owners of K2′s unite and demand all software innovations be dsitributed at a reasonable (0) cost.
