Kindle 1 screen saver / sleep mode

Hiya – I was wondering if the screen saver pictures are supposed to rotate, and how often? I assumed the point of them was that the text didn’t ‘burn’ into the screen – but I’m not sure. I’ve noticed that when mine does flip to the SS option, the picture usually doesn’t change at all until I wake it up – even if it’s been an hour or more.Is it supposed to rotate so that the PICTURES don’t get burned into my screen?
