I am disturbed by a trend of "publisher’s greed" I see developing. The price of a new release for kindle fiction is escalating from $9.99 to $14-15!!! (Check out the pre-release prices for the fall of 2009-sort by publish date). That is enough increase to make me wait!! I do not believe the cost of ebooks has increased and with the increase in the volume of kindle readership, the numbers should justify lower not increased pricing…except for "publisher’s greed". DANGER – this is enough to run me away from the kindle!
