I would like to purchase my first Kindle (and I’d like the DX.) I was about to buy it when I read that I won’t be able to work with PDFs on the DX. (no highlighting, note-taking, dictionary, etc.) That’s a deal breaker, as I am a doctoral student and need to work with textbooks and articles. Here is my question – is there any hope that this will change soon?? I’d really love a Kindle, but it’s not an option for me without these features.
