Sometimes my kindle will lose the last place read in a book. I have to turn it off, I hold the button, I guess that makes it reset or something, then when I turn it back on it’s empty, then my stuff appears and my last page is correct. I can’t remember exactly what I was doing to make it do that. I hit "back" once while reading but the other time I was looking up a word or something. After the first time I thought I got smart and started bookmarking spots before I left my page but the second time it happend it said I had no notes or marks on that page.Anybody know why?
