eReader Zone

So my kindle DX was ordered (purchased) on june 11 but its going to arrive on July 6 I was wondering do i need to wait and then order my warranty and use the delivery date as purchase date or the day i placed the order. If i use june 11 i loose a month of the warranty which i think is stupid. Any ideas?Does any one know if amazon starts their warranty (not the extended one) from the day i purchase (order) as well ?Thank you
