Last page "buzz"
Is this just me? When I finish a paper book, I start to have a pavlovian buzz/excitement as I near the ending of the book.And usually, 9 times out of 10, it results in me having a somewhat strong buzz/emotional reaction to the last page. Kind of similar to the "buzz" you get when a good movie or tv show has a huge twist or reveal that amazes you…….I typically get a feeling similar to that on the last page of a book. Even if the book isn’t all that great.So I am curious 1) does anyone else get that on paper books? and 2) if so, have you noticed that this doesn’t happen on the kindle?presumably because of the fact that the sense of "reaching the end of the book" is different with the kindle…
