I have just entered a service report but I thought this user group might also be helpful. I began to get erratic behavior from some Kindle 2 keys. The primary difficulty is with the right side "next page" key. When pressed it sends the kindle into seach function and enters automatically a series of keys "3qojb". Each time the key is pressed it adds the sequence again. The keyboard will also add a sequence of keys at times. Therefore the search function nolonger works accuratly. I have tried several hard reboots but that has not worked. The left side "next page" keys works OK. At first I thought it was a hardware problem but since it involves more than one key, I was thinking that it might be software or even a virus issue. Is it possible to reinstall the entire software operating system. Any suggestions will be helpful.
