I like my Kindle 2, but its rendering of detailed illustrations, particularly maps and charts, is totally inadequate. Two reasons: Kindle 2′s small form factor and its one-step zoom. Why doesn’t Kindle let me zoom in more and use the joystick to move around the graphic?So the question is, Is the larger-form-factor DX significantly better at rendering detailed illustrations. It should be, but I’d like to hear from folks who have actually used both and can speak from experience.
