Thanks to reader Eric Chaffee, I’ve found an error in the current version of Free Books for Your Kindle that is available for download. I should have quality checked it better when I downloaded the latest version. If I had, I would have caught an unintentional truncation that was caused by some code from Microsoft Word. Yes, I know, Word isn’t exactly the best editing program for this stuff, but it was what I had easily available that day.I will update the version from the Kindle store to include the missing portion, but that takes a few days to appear, and it’s not clear if a rumored recent policy change will affect the ability of those who had downloaded previously to get a free update. I’m waiting to hear from Amazon on that. Fortunately, the missing portion doesn’t affect the usability of the book. Unfortunately, the missing portion contained the acknowledgements.
