MP3 feature?

Has anyone tried the MP3 feature? I downloaded songs to the F:Kindle file on my computer but the Kindle will not do anything when I press MP3 under Experimental. I thought it would be good for variety when I on vacation. Any tips? Sorry if this has been discussed before.Thanks : )
