I just thought of a completely new idea for a meeting, but not just for North Carolina. This one would be all over the country. We could pick a day and time–say, 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 6. If you wanted to participate, you could just show up at your local Starbucks, take out your Kindle, and see who else was there. No sign-ups, no money. Just show up, and buy your own drink. You might meet other Kindlers in your own community, or you might not–if not, just have fun reading! What do you think? (If you don’t have a Starbucks in your town, go to whatever local coffee shop is the most popular!) (And no, I don’t work for Starbucks. It’s just that it’s the coffee shop that is most widespread.)
