Oberon Design covers for K1 and K2 – gorgeous

Posted by Kindle 21 Jun 2009 No Comments »

Got my K1 cover in the new sky blue, which is really a sort of medium denim. Oberon Design (oberondesign.com) does beautiful work. The tabs are loose enough to keep from pushing the K1 buttons, but they’re secure. OD also make a velcro attachment style, but I think the corners are better. There are many designs and colors. Cost was $65. They also make other leather tooled products. There are a couple reviews of the K covers on Youtube. My cover replaces the M-Edge. The OD cover is a little larger and heavier than the M-Edge. The finish is more matte than the somewhat shiny pictures on their website. It took them only one day to make the cover and 2 days’ delivery via priority mail. I feel my Kindle is now housed in proper style.
