I have been using the Kindle app on my iPhone since the day it came out. I love it so much that I just purchased and received a Kindle2. Now I am very interested in Whispersync working but I am having problems with it on the K2.First, I have synchronization turned on for my kindle account.Second, I do not have any problems with the iPhone. Whenever the iPhone is ahead of the k2, I can manually ask the k2 to sync and it will take me forward to where the iphone is.However, the k2 does not appear to automatically update the server with its location. I have wireless turned on all the time and have all bars in my home, where this is happening. I read for an hour yesterday on the k2 and then suspended it. When I wanted to pick up the iPhone to read from it, manually requesting a sync told me that the iPhone was the furthest ahead, which was not true.I called and spoke to 2 people at Kindle about this. The first person either hung up or we lost the connection. The second person does not know how it works and is going to research it for me.Is anyone else having problems? BTW, if I am on the k2 and press Home and then Menu and then select the "sync and check items" it will update the server with my current position and then I can retrieve it from the iPhone. But that’s a pain. I want it to auto update the server with my location as long as I’m connected to wireless.-Karen
