I got this as a free book, but am wondering if I read the whole thing. I was looking at buying book 2 the magician when I noticed that The Alchemyst is 400 pages in print. In the kindle it is only approx 4600 index units. I have a hard time believing I read 400 pages, as the book seemed short. Maybe it is a sign of a good book.On the other hand Dewey is listed at 288 pages and I think that read much longer on the kindle, it is archived but I seem to recall 7K index units.In any case did anyone else get it when it was free and then read the next book, did it flow right.Since it does end abruptly the next book is required if you are into the story.
