I am not sure if this is the right place to post this. If not, could someone please direct me to the appropriate community? Ok, so I bought a Kindle. it shows up in my "Manage Your Kindle" page. I haven’t bought any books by paying for them. In my "Your Orders" section, I only see "Kindle User’s Guide 3rd Edition." I have uploaded 2 books so far. One was already in a format compatible with Kindle, so I just used the USB cable to directly upload it, the other was a PDF, which I converted using the free.kindle.com email address into a recognized format and then uploaded that too. I have also downloaded a couple of book previews from the Amazon Kindle store. I haven’t yet downloaded the books though. These appear in the status box with a "Tick" (Success) message. Now, I have bought an iPod Touch. I installed the app, linked it to my account, all good. However, neither my 2 books are showing up, nor are the reviews I downloaded showing up, nor is the "Kindle User’s Guide 3rd Edition." So my questions/understanding is this – 1. Do books uploaded manually into the Kindle not synchronized? 2. How do I upload books manually into Kindle For iPhone app? Or can I not? 3. Do book previews that are downloaded for free not synchronized? I am able to download a preview into my Kindle through my Touch, but then it doesn’t show up on the Touch. 4. Before I buy a book, I want to make sure that if I actually do pay for a book, I can view it on both my devices. If I buy it from one device, will it appear on the other? 5. In the dropdown on the "Your Orders" section, if I try to choose the Touch for the "Kindle User’s Guide 3rd Edition", it says in red font "Please sign in." Where do I sign in?
