Repurposed: Cheap sleeve for K2

I wanted to replace my Patagonia case with a sleeve that was easier to use with my K2 silicone skin. I read only with the skin on and used the Patagonia as a sleeve (which I left tucked in my everyday bag). But friction from the skin meant I had to give my K2 an extra push every time I stowed it into the Patagonia case.I looked at many alternatives, but none worked well. Then I found something that works well and is cheap. In case others are interested, I posted pictures under "Images" at the top of your screen. The sleeve — intended as a pencil case — costs about 2 bucks at Target. It’s durable (backpack nylon), lightweight, slightly padded in front. I clipped two of them to the handle of my everyday LeSportsac tote with a carabiner, so I can remove and stow K2 and accessories with less chance of losing. Using two cases gives my K2 extra padding, and I get extra storage for receipts, business cards, passport, tickets, etc. (Front compartment has a Velcro flap. Back compartment is zippered.)
