I’m reading ‘For Love of Mother Not’ by Alan Dean Foster. My first Kindle novel and I’m so excited. However, I was disturbed when the main character entered a "c – o – r – n" station to make a call. Corn? Do they use "corn" to communicate on this planet? No, they don’t. It should read "c-o-m". Short for "communication." The error is consistent. The sad thing is that it takes me out of the story each time I read it. It’s sloppy work. Is there no quality control with Kindle?
