Still no estimate on the DX shipping date….
The answer I received from Amazon Customer Service when I asked about the estimated shipping date:"If you place your pre-order for Kindle DX now, we’ll ship it to you this summer. I’m sorry to inform that at present we can’t assure you on the exact shipment dates for Kindle DX. "Wouldn’t you think that with all the kids heading off to college this fall and with Amazon marketing the DX for textbook reading that they would at least announce a shipping date? Most kids head off to school sometime in August. Why would I pre-order one only to have to re-ship it? Why would I pre-order one if it won’t be delivered before the kids have to buy their fall semester books?Come on Amazon – get with it!
