Suggestions to improve the text-to-speech function

Kindle,I love the text-to-speech function. It does need improvement though. Here are some suggestions.1.Problem: chapter and article titles are quickly spoken and indistinguishable from body text. Possible solution: how about a long pause before the start of a chapter; slow the speech down; and decrease the octave of the voice wile kindle reads the chapter number and title? Possible solution: how about inserting the words "chapter title" before kindle reads the chapter number?2.Problem: while text-to-speech is activated, Kindle will not let me turn a page. When reading newspaper articles, I often wish to skip an article or a passage and would like to flip forward a couple of pages. Possible solution: allow the reader to flip the page while Kindle is reading. 3.Problem: when reading a paper newspaper, or magazine, I often scan the photos, and photo captions, and then decide to read the article. . Possible solution: Currently Kindle allows the reader to flip between article titles. How about adding a feature to flip between photos with captions.4.Problem: political articles are difficult to hear since the names of heads of state are mispronounced. Please correct the pronunciation of Obama! Possible solution: how about a feature that lets the reader highlight a mis-pronounced word, and during the next sync, the suggestion is sent to Amazon Headquarters to be fixed?5.Problem: articles list the number of words as "number of words |1234|" and kindle reads "|" as "vertical bracket." This is very annoying. Possible solution: how about listing the number of words as "number of words = 1234" where Kindle reads "=" as "equals."6.Problem: the keyboard "space bar" is a pause button. This is fine but can be improved. Tivo has perfected the button placement for this kind or situation. Possible solution: how about using Tivo’s placement of the pause (larger than all other buttons, a different color and a different shape as well, this is the most important button), skip section/track (small and of to the side), forward, backwards, fast forward, fast backwards (shape of its function, and play (small and above the pause, surprisingly, this is the least used button). These same buttons will be helpful when Kindle expands to allow more spoken word books, pod casts, and mp3 music. Keep reading,Chris MillerP.S. Tell the publisher that do not allow text-to-speech, that people read more with that feature, and will buy more books. I have decided not to read the Star Wars books because they do not have text-to-speech feature.
