Yesterday was the first sunny day I got to read outside and yep… the dreaded sun fade. *sigh* I still love my kindle. I read outside rarely, so its not a big issue. I live overseas, so its going to be a pain to return it and wait for the new one. Is it worth it?I guess the question that’s more pertinent to me is does the sun fade problem indicate any OTHER problems? Is my poor lil gal going to just up and die on me one day and the sun fade indicates this or is she going to keep going strong despite the sun fade?Its a pretty severe case, but it was pretty darn bright out. I couldn’t read any of the pages on the screen. Again, not a big deal to me if its the only problem, but its got me worried there may be more… but I can’t imagine the couple of weeks it’ll take me to get another one *sigh* Maybe I should wait til my husband’s arrives and make off with his while I replace mine?
