To be useful to students, the DX is going to need some improving. My husband and I are both going for our MA in the fall, and were discussing buying one for each of us, because our teachers have us read a LOT of .pdf files. We were planning to put our class notes in .pdf form, too, and load them onto the DX as well. But, upon looking at the manual, I discovered that highlighting and notes are disabled in .pdf files – which makes it virtually useless for a student. Now I’m back to eying Plastic Logic’s unit that’s coming out in the winter, instead. So disappointing.
