eReader Zone

My Kindle has been great but yesterday while I was finishing a mystery and got to "whodunit" my Kindle took a crap on me – all of the lines on the page I turned to were printed one on top of another on the top line and an "Unexpected Error" message popped up with an option to close. I was unable to open all of my books except one. (Why just that one?) I tried re-setting and it didn’t work. My son called Amazon and they think they rebooted the Kindle and reloaded most of my books – have many other people had this happen to them? Once it happens does it happen again and again?? Thanks for any information you might have.
