What could publishers add to Kindle editions to give them more value?

This occured to me from a post by Trudy Kimbrough in another thread. When many publishers are converting p-books (paperbooks) to Kindle books, its pretty clear that they just take the paper edition and digitize it, with very little additional effort. They could do a lot more. :) First, let’s get the obvious ones out of the way:* Better proofreading* Interactive Table of Contents* Clickable endnotes * Better formatted images* Chapter marks (so you can jump to a chapter)Now, here are some more suggestions:* Make sure there is a sample of the book itself in the front, so when we get the free sample, we can judge it. :) A lot of paperbacks used to do that, and it makes sense* Move most things that aren’t part of the book to the back: acknowledgements, author profile, and so on. Feel free to include a link in the front (like special features in a DVD), but let us dive right into it if we want to do that* Clickable list to buy the next book(s) in the series (again, at the back of the book)* Clickable list to other books by the author* Link to the author’s website (if any)* Let us know if a link is Kindle friendly, or if it will just look good on the iPhone or iPod Touch* Link to the publisher’s website* Clickable "if you enjoyed this, you might enjoy…"* Really key: put a short classification for the book, ideally at the beginning of the book, ideally with "k" in the front so we can use it as a tag. Tag it as "kmystery", "kfantasy", and so on* Cover imagesI know some of you might not want these, but I am used to much of this from p-books, and liked them there.Your ideas?
