Dear Washington Friends & Neighbors,I am now the enthusiastic owner of a new Kindle DX and so I thought it natural to get to know the others out there in my region who love reading – and who love reading on the Kindle especially!I’m in Bellingham, Washington; my real name is Bruce Hendler; and my ‘handle,’ ‘tag,’ or ‘nickname’ here at Amazon is TrueEarth.I read mainly non-fiction with a focus on Popular Science and History. I am particularly interested in understanding the overall picture of our planet from the perspective of physical geology. (Now you see where I got my nick.)I am publishing a ‘Kindle Only Edition’ of a book I am writing on that subject before 2009 is over. Thus, my interest in buying, using, learning and talking about the Kindle.I visualize this Discussion as including any topic related to Reading and/or the Kindle.
